SUMMARY — THE REDUCTIONThis historical/art piece examines a marble Acropolis statue depicting what appears to be a rhizomelic dwarf, the only dwarf figure among the site's statues.

A marble sculpture in the Acropolis is of a dwarf maiden, the only dwarf among over 70 statues in the Athenian Acropolis. The features of the statue suggest that the dwarf is a disproportionate rhizomelic dwarf.
